Phone models will be priced at P15,990 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, putting it in competition with the likes of the OPPO F11, Vivo V15, Huawei P30 Lite, and the Samsung Galaxy A50, to name some.

The Mi 9 SE is the inexpensive version of the Xiaomi Mi 9, which is valued at P22,990. While it does not have the range-topping Snapdragon 855 chipset, with the 712 taking its place – the first phone to come out with the chip, considered as the second-best in Qualcomm’s lineup recently.
Coming out in two variants (6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB + 128GB storage), the same as the standard Mi 9. Only the former variant has been officially announced and priced, and it remains to be seen if the higher variant will be ever seen in the Philippines.
The standard Mi 9’s higher variant is priced at P24,990 – P2,000 more expensive than the base version.
The SE also has the same 48MP f/1.75-aperture camera with Sony IMX586 sensor found in the standard Mi 9. But the SE’s two other cameras are of a lower resolution: a 13mp ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto for the SE versus the 16MP ultra-wide and 12MP telephoto for the standard Mi 9.
The SE also has a 5.97-inch display while the standard has a 6.39-inch one. The Mi 9 can charge faster with fast-charging rated at 27 watts while the SE charges at 18 watts. And finally, it comes with the standard Mi 9’s in-screen fingerprint sensor as well.Share on
