MMDA implementing the stop-and-go scheme at the end of SEA Games on Dec. 11

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the stop-and-go traffic scheme will be implemented again as the 30th Southeast Asian Games culminate on December 11.

Athletes and delegates from outside Metro Manila hotels are going to check out as early as 10:30 a.m., she said.

On the other hand, those billeted in the metropolis are expected to hit the road from 2 p.m.

According to Pialago, more than 2,000 MMDA staff will be deployed in key areas until December 13.

Since a biennial sports meeting for the SEA Games, more than 8,000 athletes and 2,000 technical officials have been in the country.
