President Rodrigo Duterte was greeted by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
In a capital, Medvedev sometimes said he is “the White House,” the two rulers held their talks in the House of Russia.
Duterte arrived in Russia for a four-day visit and is expected to travel to the Black Sea resort of Sochi where he will join Russia’s Vladai discussion club of experts and meet President Vladimir Putin on a separate bilateral discussion on Thursday.
It was his second visit to Russia in May 2017, cut short by the terrorist attack in the south of the Philippines which compelled him to return home before he was planned. This was his last visit to Russia.
