After almost 12 hours, the MRT-3 line activities restarted completely on Friday after an electrical crash triggered a significant train service disturbance.
MRT-3 trains were fully functional and operational at 5:27 p.m., representatives of the MRT said.
The crash was resolved at approximately 4:35 p.m.
MRT-3 operations were suspended early morning on the same day after an electric cable in Guadalupe Station in Makati City reportedly dislocated, which affected the electrical supply cable of the transit line.
Operations partly resumed around 9:45 a.m., but only from station North Avenue to station Shaw Boulevard. The event impacted some 7,300 passengers. Transportation authorities called for public busses to take the stranded passengers.Share on
