Authorities detained on Thursday three individuals, two whom identified as Chinese, who purportedly tried to buy casino chips with fake $300,000 bills at the Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.
After employees found that the US dollar bills worth P15 million were fake, these men: Fernando Silanga, 44; Tiange Wu, 31; and Song Ho Sang, 53, were seized at the Grand Wing of Resorts World Manila.
Employees required the assistance of the Villamor Police Community Precinct, resulting in the arrest of the three while playing at the hotel’s casino wing.
Police cited a vast number of the bills had identical serial numbers.
Investigation exposed that one James Park, recognized as a Korean, gave the bills to the suspects. Park is primary focus over a manhunt.
Suspects are currently incarcerated at the Pasay Police Station where they were awaiting the filing of estafa charges and for violating the Revised Penal Code’s provision on Illegal Possession and use of False Treasury or Bank Notes and Other Instruments in Credit.Share on
